what the hell? I goto fiddle with the settings, and I get a bunch of resolutions with different hz, none of them was 1152x864.

SOF3 wont do 1152x864?

what you expect for a bargain bin game?
I knew the game was made on the cheap, I didn't think they were going to cheap it out like that.
It doesn't do 2560x1600 either and has virtually no graphics options. The textures are lame, the game runs like shit on my system, and it locks up and crashes often. Basically, a huge dissappointment.
Plus the gore system doesn't even work right. A G36 shouldn't explode bodies. The Ghoul II system in SOF2 was FAR better than this pile of crap.

Serioulsy I've been more pleased with $3 budget titles out of the Comp USA bargain bin.

I wouldn't. As a fan of the first two games I am very dissappointed in this latest incarnation of the franchise.

I honestly didn't think it was possible to screw a game up as much as they did in sof3. I mean the story almost should write itself, but they screwed that up when they got rid of 'john mullins' being the main character.
I only played sof2 double helix (gold edition), I didn't think it was the best fps by any stretch of the imagination, but atleast it wasn't a half assed game they just pieced together to keep the funding for their bigger titles flowing.
Activision is actually starting to look like EA now.
