SOCOM headset on pc?

Okay well I tried the plug and play method, and that disabled my sound card (unplugging it enabled it again...) So, does anyone know of any software for the SOCOM headset that makes it compatible with Creative sound cards? If not I guess I'll just go and buy a "normal" headset.
