Socket-Tab Hold-Down Fine For DangerDen TDX?

im planning on getting one of two boards:

Biostar M7NCG: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-138-234&depa=1

now if i get the biostar, which im kinda leaning towards, it does not have socket mounting holes, is the socket tab adapter going to work just as well as the holes, or should i go with the other board with the normal mounting holes?

why would you get a TDX block designed for extreme cooling but an absolute piece of crap motherboard thats going to allow little if any OCing?

/edit: that goes for both of them.

my answer: get another board and if it has holes, get a TDX with mounting holes. if it doesnt, get the one with the SHDT. they both work just as well.

well it seems that he is looking at mATX boards so he doesnt have alot of options when it come to one the overclocks well... the only one i seem to have found is the Biostar M7NCG it has full range of OC options... and its a decent little board.. i recently bought it for my new mATX water cooled system.. and i am almost positive that the TDX will have no problems on that board there should be lots of room for it....
