Socket P compatibility. MSI barebone. Help!

The PM45 chipset does support Merom CPUs as well as Penryn CPUs. Based on that, the barebones you purchased should support them as well.
 
That is what i supposed too, but checking since i doesnt specify, just says penryn supported. Thanks!!
 
Yeah, it should work fine. How do you like your barebone? I have one coming that should arrive next week :)
 
Havent acutally got it yet, it should be here in 2 days, eeeeeekkk cant wait, but all the other forum members at notebookreview that got got said its great, that the cooling system is terrific!!
