Well I haven't been in the market for a HSF in about 6 years now and I know that Socket A is a rather old interface. However, the TMD fan on my Vantec Aeroflow just went kaput on me so I need to find a replacement. I know that Vantec made an Aeroflow 2 but these looked a bit bigger and the current heatsink just barely clears some capacitors on my mobo.

So I'm a tad worried about clearance and would like to consult the 'experts' for a HSF recommendation that fits my mobo. I don't like screaming fans as I'm not looking for uber-performance. Just something 'normal' and not too loud would be fine.

Mobo: Asus A7N8X
CPU: Athlon XP 2400+
