Does anyone know when AMD is releasing the socket 939 platform?

It was supposed to be the end of March, now the end of April, but I can't find a specific date anywhere?

I am ready to build a new system rate now, but I have waited this long so I might as well wait just a little longer.

Thanks

when socket 939 is released, what kind of processors are going to be released with it.
fx-55, 3800+, rereleases of socket 754 and 940 processors?

3700+ and FX-53, as you would expect them to be. Apparently, the Athlon 64 3200+ and 3400+ CPUs for Socket 939 will have 512 kB of L2 cache, but possess a dual channel memory controller to offset the small performance hit of the smaller cache.

i thought that for socket 940 they werent going to be releasing a 3400+ or a 3700+ but a 3500+ and a 3800+.

I guess we'll find out...it's all hearsay, and that's about all I care about the whole thing. Performance ratings aren't important to me, either.
