First off, I hear a lot of bitching from people who preordered the game, before any reviews came out, and for ridiculous little bonuses like $5-off on Steam, or a code to unlock a few extra missions. You people are stupid.
Here, I'm going to spell it out to you very carefully. You're stupid, so you might not understand otherwise.
In summary, if you are disappointed in Far Cry 2 and you either
Here, I'm going to spell it out to you very carefully. You're stupid, so you might not understand otherwise.
- The preorder bonuses were bullshit. $5 off on Steam is still a ripoff for not getting a box (if you actually care about saving money), when you can usually get PC games for $40 or cheaper on launch from Circuit City or Fry's, day 1, without preordering. The extra missions you get from the Gamestop preorder are available to anyone without the code, and anyone with half a brain would know this going in.
- But what the hell, you preordered anyway, putting your full faith in the idea that Ubisoft would never make anything less than the perfect game they were telling you they would make.
- Then, amazingly, you didn't like the game. Like a stupid idiot, you spent $50 on it before you even knew what you were buying. So what do you do? Have a pity party on Internet forums. Misery loves company and you found a lot of other stupid people who were in the same situation. "Wahh! How could the game not be perfect?!"
- To add insult to injury, every single major online review mentions the same annoyances people are annoyed about with the game. From the amount of driving, to the lack of variety of objectives in missions. For those who preordered, you realize you could have waited, spent a few minutes reading before spending $50 and saved yourself the trouble of whining on Internet forums like a bunch of sad little nerds. And anyone who read any of these reviews before purchasing the game, still purchased it, and then got pissed deserves it for being so stupid.
In summary, if you are disappointed in Far Cry 2 and you either
- preordered Far Cry 2,
- OR purchased the game on launch without proper reading comprehension for reviews,
