So, which connector is positive/negative?

Antec 900 case. Neither the Gigabyte motherboard manual nor Antec manual elaborate here so some help would be appreciated.

Trying to connect RESET SW, PWR SW, and IDE HDD LED two-pin connectors to the motherboard. The manual says to be careful about connecting positive to positive and negative to negative.

The colors are white blue, white black, and white purple. Am I correct in assuming white is negative?

reset and power switch - doesn't matter, in case of leds - they just don't light up if connected the wrong way..

The LED is a diode so it would only work one way and the buttons are PTM switches. So no poof.

Well, I guess I've got one other question, if you guys don't mind...it says IDE HD LED, but I'm setting up all SATA drives...I assume the LED HD activity indicator will still go off even if I use SATA drives?

Another way of denoting "negative" or "ground" is "common"... so, since most, if not all, wire pairs have a common color, white, that would be the ground/common/negative.
