It seemed like the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life after i ran the fine tuning last night on my new rig

IT said i was able to redic overclock my shit like from 2500 MHZ to 3850 on the Card and from 2.66 to 3.01 on my CPU... but it didnt do it? or it didnt seem like it worked, also I went to work the smorning and a co-worker told me nTune is complete and total shit... and it fucks up your bios?? PLEASE HELP can someone explain to me how to overclock my shit like nTune said I could but manually? sorry im new
