that you're stuck on a desert island with your laptop and charger (and the island has plugs and wifi)....but you forgot your mouse. What games do you bring/play?
 
SNES emulator or some old side-scrollers? I can't stand playing games using the touch pad. Tried playing Age of Empires 2 and just ended up quitting after 30 minutes.

yeah, this is the real reason i asked the question. I was looking for some good games to play with the touchpad. I think I found one that I like, Dawn of War

I thought Age of Empires 2 was doable on a laptop's touchpad but I got tired of it. The cramped space of the touchpad surface and the cursor keys on the right side of the laptop didn't do it for me. However, if you are fine with that, Age of Empires 2 and 3 could be played with the touch pad. I don't play PC games much so my suggestions are limited.
 
I would use Rosetta Stone to brush up on my Mandarin Chinese
 
MAME, Applewin and DOSBox. Now I have hundreds of games from my youth.
 
i would download a PS1 emulator and play Gran turismo 1 and 2. BTW the laptop that you have on the island.... what are the specs?

lets say whatever your laptop is, if you dont have a laptop...well, then youre stuck on the island without one.
 
Im going to be an ass and say

I would practice night in and night out and get my touchpad skills up a bit. Then I would start WoW. :D
 
i'd use the laptop to upload my self to the matrix that the servers on the island are simulating.
 
Trackmania, Grid, Futurepinball, R-Type, Kings Quest, Myst, Return to Zork, Doom, Doom 2, Rise of the Triad, Sexy Beach Bunny, Sexy Beach Bunny 2

The usual.
 
I would order the 1tb drive for 80 bucks from the egg.
