I have had troubles installing certain programs recently. Everytime I try to install, say, Priston Tales, it says "Can't access %USERPROFILE%/Configuracoes Locais/Dados de Aplicativos" (Local configuration/Application data).
Now, the normal would be "Configurações Locais", but he tries to access "Configuracoes Locais". This is probably due to I used a japanese unicode, which removed the graphical accents, and when I went back to the normal unicode, it didn't "re-add" the graphical accents.
How could I fix this without formatting the computer? Maybe if I changed something in the registry key, it'd work?
by the way, I can't edit the name of the folders. If I edit the one without accents, it goes "this folder cannot be edited" and if I try to edit the one with accents, it tells me "this folder, if edited, may make a program stop working".
I'm on Windows XP Professional SP2, if this matters.
Thanks in advance.
