My main AMD rig will UD during the day, and DF during the night

My 2.4 Celly rig will fold 24/7/365

If I get another system up, It will UD 24/7/365, and I will then DF 24/7/365.

Can I suggest that you instead run UD and DF alongside eachother allocating 50% to each. I know that DF is not a perfect project and lately ahs had a few issues. These issues could lead to a machine not producing any work for extended periods whilst their servers are down or clogged, the pauses whilst it waits to hearback from the server or timeout could be better used by UD seizing the spare cycles and thus ensure your PC more efficiently crunches at least one of the projects.

No matter what, they are your machines and the electric bills are yours too, thus you have the right to do with them as you please. I'm even mellowing in my opinions enough to realise that even chasing encryption keys has some use now, and a hell of a lot of life saving ability from it's previous incernations ie the 1st programmable computer Colossus2 http://www.codesandciphers.org.uk/lorenz/rebuild.htm which performed it's role perfectly and saved so many allied lives 60 years ago almost to the hour - I wonder how many of our forefathers were saved by a computer? Makes you think. One computer saved many lives and we hope that our many PCs might save at least one life!

BTW what are you going to so with your 4th,5th & 6th PCs now the bug has bitten :) ?

He can use them to run the latest project, called "Distributed neevo", where you use spare computer cycles to try and figure out where neevo went - and to find a way to get him back to the [H]orde. He might also use them to render the latest animated movie from [P]ixar, "Finding neevo". :D

I agree with neevo, you can get a lot of work done in DF without killer clock speeds as long as you have enough memory. It's a good backup project to have running in case your main projects servers go down. Running DF along side UD will probably get more work done in the long run for both of them rather than having them both run separately half and half.
