So I just bought and build an SHUTTLE SN85G4 with an amd 64 3200+, one stick of pc3200 512 ram, samsung 60 gig hd, nvidia 128 5200 vid card and dvd re-writable combo drive.

I was wondering if there was anything I should add or replace to improve perfomance, yeah I was thinking about another stick of 512 ram, but what kind?

Thanks

Get another stick of RAM...stick with the same speed, but matching it isn't really needed because A64's don't run dual channel..

Get some decent Kingston, Mushkin, Corsair, Samsung etc...

But the first order of business is to ditch that crappy 5200 and buy a 5700Ultra+ on the Nvidia or a 9600XT + on the ATI side

heh, get a better graphics card if you were to get anything

I was thinking a 9700 pro for the vid card?

So you think two sticks of Kingston pc3200 512 would cut it?

You're set buddy.

I would get rid of that POS 5200 and get an ATi 9600XT, or if you can swing it, a 9800XT. Also some WD Raptor SATA HDD's.
