I saw the roswill p/s for newegg.. for about 55 dollars... are they good??

Use the search feature this keeps getting asked. Rosewill is crap. Spend the 80 bucks.

What were the amps needed on whic rails?

which one you recommend then? I just want to spend like max of 60 dollars with shipping...

What is the exact system? All the components........and I mean everything because I kind of doubt you did the calculator. And what is a DFI lanboy 757? 754 maybe?

I am sorry.. I meant 754.. but now I been pondering and asking a lot of questions over the forums.. I am starting to think 939 now.. but anyways

my parts will be

obviously

cpu/mb (not really sure yet, still deciding) + heatsink+ fan (mostly likely thermalright 90 something if I dont go stock)

and 1 gig of crucial value pc3200
mouse x518 gamer + microsoft elite office keyboard

5 case fans?

2 dvd burners 16x dual layers

sound blaster creative audigy 2 platinum

6800 nu card

maybe a 2001 or 2005 w dell monitor in few days

and 2 160gig western digital 8 meg hardrives

am I missing something else?

so I think I am going with the 500watt antec p/s what ya think?

For an Antec get one of the Truepower II's. 380 being the low end, 430 being where I would go.

Those are the amp distributions.....the part you really need to look at on a PSU. The II has less on the 3.3v and 5v which are no longer as important as the 12v. It also has 2 12v's and no -5v as part of the newer ATX12v2.0 spec for future compliance nad upgrades.

Well there are the truecontrol's which has adjustable pots.

The trueblue which are the true series with blue LED's.

The smartpower the lower end line.

The True550EPS12V which is for EPS12v motherboards.

wow spectre..you the man.. thanks a lot for the infos on them p/s... :)

Well the EPS because it is designed for EPS(mostly workstation) motherboards. The other......because for it's line it is a higher end PSU. THe Truepower II's are the Truepower series that no meet ATX12v2.0 specs.
