i have 2 displays. On one, i have windows media player 9 playing videos fillscreen, and on the other i have my desktop. If i click the desktop or anything on it, the video on the other screen will minimize...WHY?!
 
because wmp has the window attention, if it is lost it will minimize
 
Give Winamp5 a try.

They've done a good job with this version. I started out a winamp fan then went away cuz they didn't have all the features. Now, it's great again.
 
try using theater mode in the ati overlay tab in your advanced display settings
 
first off... if you're smart enough to use dual monitors, dont lower yourself to wmp.. use a better program to view movies.. Ive found that Elecard player is great, even winamp5 is good. try those.
