So I was just about to get a GTX 1080 at nvidia.com. I already had it in my cart, but had to do some stuff first.

So I go to checkout and its gone, no longer in stock.

Damn...

What the hell was so important that you had to stop after adding the card to your cart? Simply entering your billing and shipping info takes literally only a couple minutes...

Newegg has both Asus and Zotac FE 1080 cards in stock right now. You could buy them in less time than it took to make that post.

Daily stock almost ever hour at newegg and Amazon.....yet dumbasses call this a "paper launch" lolol

2 weeks after release and units are just now starting to show up without an MSRP in sight? Sounds like paper cuts to me.

I am waiting for a Galax HOF or EVGA Classified version, but I have had numerous chances to buy Founders Edition cards since day one. If you just keep tabs on Nowinstrock.com, you should have no issue grabbing one. This is definitely NOT a paper launch.

I wouldn't let a dumb PC case dictate what I should purchase. This is why it's best to buy a good case without so much compromises.

Several on NE right now. The MSI 1080 non FE is $720 though, by NewEgg directly.

All bullshit. None of the <$700 cards are actually purchasable. MSI might be, beats me as I won't buy one at that price with the 100% positive knowledge it will clock at 2.05Ghz the same as every other 1080.

Reference cards have been widely available for weeks. AIBs are rare as chicken teeth.

I bought EVGA 1080 ACX from Newegg today, but later cancelled my order when it was on packaging stage as I decided I won't be happy with crappy acx cooler.

ASUS and ZOTAC 1070 FEs are OOS @ Newegg; nobody else is out at the moment. Also you can only buy one.

PNY includes a dual-6-pin adapter for those that only have 6-pin feeds: the price is the same for all - $449.99USD (SRP and nothing more).
