with the exact system in my sig i got 19308 3d marks in 3dmark01.

got any ideas how to get to 20,000????

lol i know its pathedic but i want the bragging rights if ya know what i mean.
 
nvm..looked more carefully at your post..im planning on a 6800gt myself..i just hope that the card is worth the 400 some odd bucks for it
 
try some different drivers. Just don't go back too far..LOL. Use driver cleaner between each driver install.
Older drivers seem to do better in 3dmark01 for some reason (to me).
Also, can u tweak the AGP bus speed a few hertz independant of the FSB on that board?
What driver version u using?

That sounds like a lot of work just to get a higher score in a benchmark... :-\

He should just lie, it sounds a hell of a lot easier.

btw, did i mention i get a 53,405 3dmark score :cool: :p

HEH.
I read on another post that you can get better performance out of your card if you expose yourself to it. But some people have killed their cards by doing this? Maybe ugly people should not try this?

lol i dont care much about the benchies....but i just rmember whan i built my first system
(athlon 1 GIG) and dreaming of 20,000.....and im so damn close it kills me...but the card peforms good in games so i dont care that much.
