My sister tells me her PC is acting up. She says it makes a grinding noise and then the screen goes all fuzzy. She says it doesn't happen right away but usually after about a half hour into turning it on.
I am thinking it's either a bad HD because of the grinding noise, or the cpu fan is dying or dead causing the cpu to overheat shortly after turning on.
Any ideas? LOL
She lives 4 hours from me so when i go to see her and fix this I'm going to take a HD and a heatsink.
Anyone ever see a motherboard cause this? Fuzzy video... it does have onboard video but how does the grinding fit in with this?
