Anyone besides me snowed in this morning? this is one nasty storm rain snow and sleet . friggen power keeps going out turning off my 2 main folding riggs.

Havn't been losing power, but we got 19inches of snow here in Ohio. :D Just about everywhere has a level 2 or level 3 warning for driving. Pretty much snowed in.

It's going to miss us up here in New Hampshire thankfully. Looks like it is drifting off, out to sea, just south of the Mass. border.

Got about 8" here! But that is childs play here in Alaska! :D
Hope none of you guys loose power. Got to keep those houses warm with those computers!

Im just about 50 miles south of washington dc in fredericksburg Semi country snow plows take days to get to us. last big snow i put a 225 gallon water tank in my van filled to the top 2000 pounds over the rear wheels worked great. this time i couldnt get close enough to the pool to fill it up.

I'm in central jersey and I think we got around 8". I was at my friends house last night since she wasn't feeling well and left around 12. There was about an inch of snow but everything underneath it was ice. I ended up bouncing off a curb doing around 3mph. I don't think there's any damage but it was dark and I haven't gone to check it yet.

SE Ohio... bout 4 inches. Going to the store to get stuff to finish a project. Got to test the AWD in the new car.

Union county...we and a few other counties got hit the hardest. :( Good thing it's the weekend though.

I left MN on Thursday and it was fixin' to be bad. Home (Fort Worth, TX) is nice. My sig rig as been up without isues for a week. Hopefully it stays that way.

The grass is visible here in New England (in spots).

Looks like all the "fun" is south of here. I love a good snow storm but we're watching it from the sidelines.

Parts of a Pittsburgh got over 20" over the last 24 hours. Way over the normal amount of snow we see during one day. (Maybe 2 to 4 inches is more common.)

we got 1/4 inch of rain here in norcal last night if that counts for anything :p

lost power for 3 friggen hours. glad its back on. my ppd are gonna be low now. knew i should have gotten my generator ready

[sigh...]

What I wouldn't give for our house to be snowed in. Here it's the height of summer, 26C with 90% humidity in a crappily ventilated, tiny room because we have house renovations and the sound of power tools and the smell of pulverized gib wherever you go...

Heh. Welcome to winter, boys :D.

For once we aren't getting anything. But there's plenty for you to enjoy ;).

I'm in the Netherlands. We don't do snowstorms here. Just an occasional snowflake and rain.

:D

(so far 1 power failure in the 2 years that I live in my current place)

A little wind and rain here, but today is calling for 60 degrees and sunny. I guess we need to break out the winter coats.

(Central Florida)

:D

That's ok though we pay for it in the summer...

85 degree summers with 150% humidity.. hurricanes, and insane lightning/thunderstorms.. oh and alligators :p

Sun sits lower in the sky, easier to sun burn, higher risk of skin cancer but that's why we are folding, correct? :D

Hey it isn't all bad here...

But try going out and mowing for 2 hours when its 98 degrees out at 100% humidity when you aren't exactly in the best shape anymore. Not only that, but in the heat of the growing season you have to cut twice a week or the mower can't handle it and you work twice as hard.

Even for people used to it down here around August it gets pretty damned hot.

I made my first trip down there 20 years ago its nice one the beach but get a block in and feels like you could cut the air with a knife

Eh, stark county got hammered, and I had to report for duty at 0700 so I was driving at 0545, man was it bad, worst in 10-15 years (plow responce that is)
I do xdispatch for all county vehicles (read PLOWS) and we new 4 days out itwas coming, hard on the canton line, and we were ready, but ODOT drug their heels
I had 12-14 here, drifts about 3 ft, more in some areas, on my truck I was leaving a trail in the snow on the highway frommy winch, that's 13" off the ground! On the highway!!

But, I made it there, 2 of my guys got stuck and one female went over a ditch, tried to tow her out but it was too slippery on my towing surface
shit, she pulled in the wrecker, I had to pull him out lol

were calling for an even worse blast on Tuesday night to wed morn, so glad I'm off that night!

enjoy the left overs of the storm that came through california friday.. :p we have another one coming through tuesday.. so expect that to hit you guys around friday or saturday..

This new one is rolling in my neck of the woods ATM (Fenton, MO...St. Louis county).
Supposed to have 5-6" by tonight.

Granted that's small potatoes compared to the last one that mainly dumped rain on us (ending with snow) earlier last week that dumped the 2'+ on the coast...but I'm a "snow bunny" (as a local weatherman calls it), snow comes and I'm happier than a Folder with a new nVidia gpu. :D I wish it'd snow *more*, I'd love to get one of the Nor'easter type storms in here one day.

currently 30 inches of snow sitting on the ground and 16-18 more in the forecast for tomorrow. *sigh*

NorthCentral PA here. We only got 6 inches from the storm last week. Forcasted for more snow Tuesday/Wednesday.

I have relatives in Pittsburgh that were without power for most of the weekend, and over 20 inches of snow.

Southeastern PA got another 10"-12" today, Philly got 28"-36" between the two storms, 65.5" this season makes it the snowiest winter on record
