has anyone ever used snapfish to print out photo's?
I heard they're pretty good.. but i haven't used them yet
the only reason why i'm using them really is because 8x10's from them are 3.79 a print compared to around 10 bucks a print at a nearby photolab...
so yeah.. experiences?

oh yeah.. if it makes any difference, i've scanned in my slides and uploaded jpg's with a res of 1622x1082... more or less..

I order from them frequently and have always been happy. You can get prints for $.10 each and shipping is only like $1.49. If you ask me they are the best you can find.

oh, i think one of my main concerns was..
if the pic i send them doesn't fit the right proportions, how do they deal with it?
do they just enlarge it until the page is covered and lose some of the outside?
or do they kinda just squish/stretch it to fit?

ive used them before; i believe it offered 4 x 5 1/3" to comform to the common digicam 4x3 ratio

maybe they have something similar for 8x10s?

that's the problem with sending off your photos to be printed instead of developing/printing them in your own darkroom/house or even printing them at one of those kiosks in Ritz camera ---- you have no control over your shots. If you are in ritz camera and you find out with the preview screen that your shot is too small or the print will cut off too much of your photo, you can just leave. But if you send off your stuff and the picture turns out bad, you've wasted your time and your money. I'd suggest doing it in store to have total control. It might be worth the extra few dollars.
