Any reason why I should buy ram designed for sandy bridge?

I see no reason? Just a marketing ploy?

I bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311 and form what I can see it's the same specs as the sandy bridge ram so I should have no issues. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...426&cm_re=snady_bridge-_-20-231-426-_-Product seems like the same.

I bought a Asus P8P67 Mobo for my new sandy bridge build.

i bought the first one you listed as well.

i bought an Asus P67 motherboard too and the first set of ram you listed is actually on the Qualified Vendors Lists for RAM for the ASUS thats why i bought it .

Rip Jaws just looks fugly. I hate the look of their stupid teeth they put on it. Just should made it like Corsair or something that is clean and simple.
