Got the above system with a 3200+ & 1gb of ram, however the card's bearings on the fan have started to go, so it now sounds like a chainsaw. Instead of having to bin the card for a new one, is there anyway to replace the fan or add a silent cooling solution to it, and still have it fit in the 95 case without any mods?

cheers in advance!

What brand?? Frozen cpu sells a fan mod, it is however for a pci e 6600gt. I am waiting on their reply to see if it will fit the agp model cuz I think the fan is way too loud. mine is an evga by the way. How long have you had said 6600gt??? regards, magoo :D

as stated what brand? if you're somewhat skeptical over these types of issues, RMA it or you probably void warranty. been there and thankful I did. it sucks to loose it for that time but for the piece of mind do it

my .02

Many aftermarket coolers for 6600GT AGP versions make card like 30 mili taller making it hard to install in SFF PC.
Also on G chassis XPC like Yours thicknes of cooler is crusial. So all good preformers like Zalman 700cu and Silencer aren't fitting.
Something that has simmular dimensions as original one but with bigger fan and made complitly of copper has good chance to fitt in Your SFF.
