SN95G5 - nforce3 and USB problem

I just built my SN95G5 with A64 3200+. I also bought an IOGear KVM so I can switch between my existing PC and my new SFF. The problem is that for some reason the devices on the KVM (it's a USB kvm) act really... "choppy". It's hard to explain, but when moving the mouse it moves, then it stops even though I'm still moving, and then continues. This repeats every half second.

I also notice the little light on the back turns on and off at the same interval.

This happens with the keyboard as well. It acts as if some keys are missed or dropped.

When the keyboard and mouse are plugged directly into the PC (not through the KVM) it works perfectly. I'm kind of stumped here as to why they don't work when connected through the KVM.

Anyone expierience this problem? More importantly, anyone have a fix?
 
Does a KVM has it's own 5V power supply?
If not that's Your problem.
SN95G5 USB power regulators ain't that strong so it can be that it can't deliver enough power to power KVM and keyboard and mouse.

To exclude faulty KVM try it out on some other PC (PC with normal full size ATX mobo newer type and good PSU)
