Hey guys got me G5 mini pc about 2 weeks ago and it works great...lovely machine but i cant seem to get the mic workin? the mic works on another machine but it doesnt seem to work for this one i dont know why eithe..can somebody help me please!!!..ive enabled the mic in the sound properties and the Nvidia mixer but i cant seem to get any input from the mic

There is a little ribbon going from the little board that the front ports are on to the motherboard. Check to see if this is fully seated in its place. If that doesn't work, you should try to get an RMA. Shuttle has a 1 year on all of their barebone systems I believe.
