I am getting lock ups with my system. nothing is oced. When I am playing Tribes Vengeance every 15 mins my computer locks up for 5 sec and then resumes like nothing happend. its hard to check my temps on this box because Motherboard montior doesnt support it. Anyone know a program that will let me check temps? with MM5 says
sensor 1 24c sensor 2 32c sensor 3 -26c ?? I knwo those cant be right cause when i reboot and check bois it says a lot higher

I have the same setup and get my temps in the nvidia app included on the disk. No lockups either.

What are the temps like in the Nvidia control panel for your video card? Open up your display settings and click on the 6800GT tab. A tree of options should show on the left hand side of the tab. Choose the Temperature Settings tab.Try unchecking the "enable heat indicator warning" box. Also, try playing your games with the case lid off. If you don't lock up or pause while playing, your video card or CPU are overheating and kicking in the temp alert notification.

Oh, and speedfan is a good utility for monitoring your SN85. Most Shuttles are supported, including yours.

Definitely speedfan - with it you can set a bunch of parameters that basically spin your fans up when the CPU/PSU/HDD/Northbridge get over a certain temp, so most of the time it will be running in idle mode and thus, pretty quiet.

Thanks for the input I do have enable heat indicator warning enabled but the same thing happens when I take the lid off.

http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php for speedfan i take it correct?

I am thinking of doing the push pull with two fans I read a long time agao. I going to do some searching for that thread again and hope i find it.

I will also try turning off the indicator warning when i get home thanks
