I don't think I've seen anyone do this yet. Forgive me if it has and I missed it.
The story:
I got my sn85g4v2 a few months ago. At first I was very happy with the system but eventually I my network started locking up. After reading several posts here and on sfftech I figured it was heat problems. By this time I already removed the rear grill and was running a push-pull configuration with two 80mm slim fans. In other words most of the basic stuff was already done. I took apart my shuttle to see if I could do anything else to help it out. After removing the case I realized how hot the psu felt and decided that this should be the target of my next mod. I took a closer look at the supply and realized that the mounting hole which attatches to case was on both the top and bottom of the supply. This gave me the idea to flip the supply around so that the fan was facing the outside and then cut a hole in the case to let it breathe. I used a jigsaw to cut the case which turned out pretty ugly. I cleaned it up with files and added car door molding but it's still not ideal. I also turned the 60mm fan around to suck air in from the outside. In the end, i don't have any problems with the network dropping anymore (*crosses fingers*) and the noise level hasn't increased very much if at all.
Here's a pic of the mod. I had to cut the back of the shuttle a little to allow the power supply to fit in this orientation. If there is interest I can post more pics later.
