I just bought this yesterday. This thing takes a min just to get through the bios first POST. Ive set up the hard drive in the bios, but it sets there detecting them anyway. Any ideas why its so slow. I am going to load an os on it this afternoon and ill let you know if its just as slow. specs below

XP 2200+
512 Kingston value ram PC2100
20gig IBM deskstar
Ati 9500pro 128mb
ATI TV wonder pro.
Liteon dvd burner.

Do you think im missing a setting or something simple like that, or do you think there is something wrong with the box.
 
Ok, so now ive installed xp on the box, now the system will not boot to the hard drive at all. So im thinking bad hard drive so im going to take a 120 and put it in there, ill post what happened.
 
Hard drive was bad. I guess moving the drive from one system to another was the straw that broke the cameltoes back. The drive reallk didnt want to format during the last reload anyway, so i guess it was its time. now i need to find a 20+ gig drive to replace it. LOL
