Any ideas where to pick up an SN26P?...doesnt even come up witht he list of other shuttle models on Newegg.

Shuttle is simply not shipping them out... there are places here and there that do or at least did have them, but wanted $1k.
 
There was an initial shipment from Shuttle, which newegg had (this is how I got one after all), but newegg has since de-listed them because Shuttle has given no ETA for the next shipment. Shuttle has either dropped the ball, or is too busy making $$$ by selling the 2600's at a big markup themselves.
 
the reason why they aren't in supply now is because shuttle didn't expect such a high demand for this barebone and are in the process of producing more then releasing them in mass quantities. FWIW at Sfftech a shuttle rep said they might be out by Xmas but don't quote me.
