OK, so I've got my system all built up and ready to install Windows XP Pro. Only thing is that I've got NO VIDEO. Here's system specs:

SN25P
AMD 3700+ skt 939 San Diego
2x512 G.skill DDR400 memory
BFG 6800 GT PCi-E
WD Raptor 74gig

So... I called BFG and they think its not getting enough juice to power the card. The green light is on the BFG card, and they say thats indicating that it doesn't have enough power, and want me to test it in another system. Only problem is... I dont have another PCI-E system to test it on, and all my friends are stuck in AGP-land.

WHY DIDN'T SHUTTLE JUST INCLUDE A PCI-E POWER CONNECTOR ON THE POWER SUPPLY?!

This is insanely frustrating. What did all you SN25P owners do to get enough power to the card? I see people regularly posting that they have 7800GT/GTX's running in their systems, HOW DID YOU DO IT?

Thanks in advance!

You need to a two 4-pin molex to one 6-pin PCI-e connector to power your card I think. Connecting only one 4-pin molex won't supply enough power to the card.

christ does that card use more power than my 2 graphics cards in my sn25p? my 7800gtx is way overclocked, what spped doeas your card run at?

i had a 7800 GT OC

Having some locking up problems with some games, cant seem to figure it out, But I think it has to do with my dual Raid Raptors. They seem to get hot, and when I restart after a lockup it doesnt always find my aray

I guess I should've specified that I DO have the 2 molex to PCI-e cable. I've got it hooked up but it still doesn't work. I dont know what the deal is. I've hooked it up in any possible configuration I can imagine, and still nothing. ARGGH

*EDIT : I did go out and get a molex splitter too. Still I cant get the damned thing to run! I'm at a complete loss as to what to do now, lol.
