SN25P + Opteron 165?

I have an SN25P with an Opty 170 so yeah they work fine.

Yes I've had an Opteron 165 overclocked to 2.4Ghz in an SN25P (300x8) works fine. Awesome little machine.

ANY socket 939 processor will work in ANY socket 939 system. I wish all sockets were as simple and straightforward as it is

Yep; I'm not a hardware-tweaking kinda guy - stock cooler, stock voltages, everything stock, but I do like overclocking, and if I replace fans, I usually pick quieter fans, rather than high performing fans, although for this SN25P I haven't replaced anything.
