SN25P + Opteron 165?

has anyone done this? should i do more research? are there any shuttles that support the opteron?

Yes I've had an Opteron 165 overclocked to 2.4Ghz in an SN25P (300x8) works fine. Awesome little machine.
 
ANY socket 939 processor will work in ANY socket 939 system. I wish all sockets were as simple and straightforward as it is :D

Yep; I'm not a hardware-tweaking kinda guy - stock cooler, stock voltages, everything stock, but I do like overclocking, and if I replace fans, I usually pick quieter fans, rather than high performing fans, although for this SN25P I haven't replaced anything.
