So, a friend of mine is attempting to run a game called Cabal Online. It randomly shuts down 1 to 2 minutes or sooner after startup. We contacted support and they said to type dxdiag in the run menu. We did that and under sound in the notes section it says something along the lines of "smwdm.sys is not digitally signed". I have done a little research on it and it seems as though it is coming form SoundMax drivers? They (help desk people) said that we needed to update our sound drivers. Im guessing this has something to do with it. Was simply wondering if anyone else had any input into this problem or have any knowledge of what "smwdm.sys is not digitally signed" would mean. If you need anymore information in order to give a clear answer just ask. Thanks alot.
