Guys,

Trying to get SMP client running on one of my systems and it seems to be working, but there is no frame update. My log is below. I let it run all night this way and there was no frame data like on my other systems. This is my only system running Vista so maybe it is a problem with this O/S. Any ideas?

Your problem lies in this line of the log

"No directory settings found in registry. Using current directory..."

Make sure you run the install.bat that is in the F@H directory and that you get the MPI has installed successfully twice blah blah but if that happens it should be good to go. Make SURE that you don't set it up as a service as this causes major hassles down the road (I ended up just doing a system restore on a box because I wasn't paying attention)

happen to disconnect the internet (LAN) connection/disable the NIC or something?

eidt: got any FahCore_a1.exe running in the task manager (processes)?

ice: .net 2.0 does not need to be loaded for Vista (as per the FAQ).

It must have been some strange folder issue (maybe rights).

I removed that install and reloaded the program in a folder outside Program Files. Everything seems to work now. Guess I need to get used to Vista.
