• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

is there a way to know when you start getting the Bonus Points, besides seeing your PPD go up?

The FAHlog.txt will show how many WU's the client has completed. Once you've reached 10 the bonus will start kicking in... Something like this:

[12:55:03] + Results successfully sent
[12:55:03] Thank you for your contribution to Folding@Home.
[12:55:03] + Number of Units Completed: 309

No i use my passkey on all my clients and have 183 WUs done so have no clue where the SMP client fits in there

The units completed number in the log file is for that client specifically. As long as you have not deleted your queue.dat file, the number in your SMP client's log will reflect the number of SMP units you have completed.
How do you set a passkey?
You have to get one from here: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py

Then you configure your SMP client and enter the passkey when you are prompted to.
