hey guys just setup my smoothie box, with a green, red, orange setup. what i would like to do is connect a WAP/Wireless router(which ever is easier) using a linksys WRT54G to the orange interface.. i have these configurations done, i can get connected on the WLAN clients when i reboot my smoothie for only a few seconds...

Green:
IP address: 192.168.0.1
Networkmask: 255.255.255.0

ORANGE:
IP Address: 192.168.2.1
Networkmask: 255.255.255.0

Wireless Router (with DHCP on):
Local IP Address (router IP): 192.168.2.2
internet IP address: 192.168.2.2
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1
Static DNS 1: 64.59.167.15
Static DNS 2: 64.59.176.13
DHCP: 192.168.2.100 - 3 max users

turn off dhcp in the router. Also for the orange interface what is the dhcp range? What ever the range is (example 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.200) set the router to a ip that is not in the dhcp range (example 192.168.1.201). Once those changes are set reboot only the linksys router.

there is no option for DHCP on the orange interface, i would have to run a homebrew application for that to work, should i install that?

what happen to the comp on the wireless side the way you hooked it up originally? Do they connect and no internet or just no connection?

make the router have an ip of 192.168.3.1 and for the gateway in the router & dns set it to 192.168.2.1

i cannot set the gateway and dns to 192.168.2.1 while the ip of the router is 192.168.3.1, it says "IP address and gateway is not at same subnet mask"

okay do the dhcp pack for the orange interface then do like I said earlier for the router
