What is the smallest, lightest and easiest to install LGA2011 heatsink?

No overclocking, so temps don't matter. The heatsink & fan have to clear the RAM.

RAM:

I picked the Zalman CNPS11X Performa, based on a somewhat random HardOCP thread:

Those are some pretty tall heatsink fins on that Dominator ram. Might be a chore to know in advance which fans would clear it. I think you might want to consider liquid cooling since nothing is attached to the CPU but the small water block which leaves room on both sides for the ram to fit on the 2011 MB with plenty of clearance. The fan/radiator is attached elsewhere so isn't pulling on the MB. I found the Intel unit I use to be rather easy to install and so far maintenance free (will be 2 years next month). Other units might be even easier to install. I haven't found a need for very complicated cooling on the 3820 since I also don't overclock and it doesn't run all that hot.

Here are some samples of various liquid cooling units. You did not mention price being a factor in your decision.

As to regular heatsinks, the Coolermaster Hyper 212 has been well received and well worth the money. I used that on my previous 1366 build. Think the Evo is their current model of that unit. Pretty sure I'll used liquid cooling in the future since it has been simple and effective. Not saying it cools all that much better than a good fan-type heatsink, just simpler to use and keeps weight off the MB and provides tons of clearance around the CPU.

Use a Corsair H80i pulling air into the case at the back, Then install 3 exhaust fans in the top of the case to handle the heat off of the 4 GPU's. Consider modding the case if necessary to remove the drive cage to improve the air flow. Most of the air coolers available are going to have a clearance problem with that ram, plus their performance will suffer because of the heat from the GPU's inside the case.
