For a split second I thought the same thing. then I remembered about this as if to respond to the OP's question. But then I noticed that it wasnt really a question as much as a statement.

I got mine a few weeks back. I love it. It's so small but so powerful. The screen's actually big enough to read without straining. Although, long song titles tend to make it hard to read sometimes. It's also nice to have people ask what that is. :)

I'm in Canada and got the canadian version DAH-1500s :(

This version doesn't have FM radio, recording, rubber case, or USB 2.0.

The unit itself is very easy to use and intuitive. Took me 1 min to learn how to use it without reading the manual. The sound quality is pretty good.

Anyone know where I can get the US version DAH-1500i and shipped to canada for a resonable price?

Korean portable media designer iRiver. Some of the best stuff out there, however you have to import from Europe or Asia to get the good stuff.
 
iRiver looks kewl, but seems over priced. I did get to check out my buddies 1500i and was pleasantly surprized with how good it sounded.
 
I'd take the new gumstick Sony NWs over this. Sleek shape seems more portable than a cube imo..
 
^^^ At 199.95, the price of the Sony NW-E507 is not in the same league as the 1500i, imo. But it does look snazy but so far as I can see, there is no built in EQ. Between price and EQ, thats kinda a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, that's because they are really feature-rich. If they made one with just three of their top features features (high battery life, exquisite sound quality, Ogg support) I'd be happy.

Check ebay (thats where I bought mine for less than Walmart's price shipped) or if need be I'd be willing to buy one through Walmart and ship it to you but, the reason I bought mine on ebay was because there is a 2+ week wait to get one through Walmart.

Ogg, really? Never knew that... Do they all support Ogg? I will have to check into that.
