Smaller sig text size?

Would you like a smaller font size in sigs

  • No, it looks fine now with the same size and font, and kyle doesnt need the extra work.

well there's always a few threads about enabling coding and all the other eye candy in sigs.
well the eye candy is useless and is a distraction.

but it seems people dont like the similarity between sig text and post text, and many would be happy for smaller signature text size.

so here's a poll to give the admins some feedback. :)

here's a sample

How many times must we go through this? I think the admins have already had plenty of feedback on this issue and I thought Kyle made his point perfectly clear. If people don't like the similarity between post and sig text or if they don't like the size of the sigs then they can turn sigs off.

yeah i kinda missed those type of conversations, the only ones ive seen were along the lines of; why cant we have pictures or vb coding or html coding or different colors or change the size, or basically the things i think would be a destraction.

not just the sole option of making the sig text smaller.

people in this thread seemed to like the idea.

thats why i made a poll. it doesnt bother me too much personally, i just thought it could be an improvement.

I vote they just disable sigs altogether and solve the whole issue. :p

The whole idea of this forum is to get your feedback and solve forum problems. Your suggestions are welcomed, but when policy has been made and implimented, especially the ones that were made by trials of fire to protect the forum from malicious use, the likelyhood of a policy change is slim.

I don't think anything else should be done to the sigs EXCEPT for making the font size smaller. This is because I couldn't fit my overall system specs (peripherals included-those ARE specs) in the sig, and an admin told me to make it smaller. Not wanting to get kciked out of my home, I complied. It would be nice to have the sig font be smaller so we could fit more. Fow shizzle.

Thought so myself until I tried.
you really need "-Standard floppy drive" in there? I think that hurts your system specs more than anything...

/edit oh yeah the Celery don't help much either ;)

Floppy drives do tend to be useful. I didn't put one in for a while until I found myself needing one out of nowhere a couple of times. It doesn't hurt specs at all, what are you talking about? Everey component of your rig is still a component, and if it's important to you, then it should be out there.

I think his point is does anyone else care that you have a floppy drive in your computer?
