Smaller CPU Coolers?

Hey all,

I recently moved my computer into a smaller case and took out my Q9300 for my E6300 as I don't really use my desktop a ton anymore now that I have the laptop. But I still use it enough to keep it up and running well, ya know?

However my TR Ultra-120 is well... Completely oversized for the case and you can barely reach in to put the fan on it or anything. Everybody just seems to be making and reviewing giant monster coolers anymore which is a shame for people with smaller cases.

So I'm looking for some suggestions in the realm of smaller coolers that are reasonably priced and good performers as my E6300 will do 3.0+.

I saw that and the TR Ultima-90... But their barely any smaller than the Ultra-120. The 120 is 132mm the 90 is 115mm and the mini ninja 110mm...

2cm isn't enough to make me want to spend money to switch, especially since the performance of the 120 is as good as it is. Sure not as good as the extreme, but pretty close.

Though perhaps I should have been more clear that the problem is the width of the unit and it's almost touching my psu which is what causes the problems with getting the fan on and all, and those crazy fan mounting wires don't help any.


Now that Noctua one... Hmmm... It's only 95mm wide which gets me almost 4cm...
