Smaller CPU Cooler

I'm looking for a smaller/lighter CPU cooler that does a decent job of keeping a CPU cool... I'm not interested in anything like the Prolimatechs but more something with a 92mm fan. What are the best choices?

Also on a side note, which would be a good thermal compound to pair with it, I think I've heard IC Diamond being the best, but what are the best ones available at Newegg?

Not necessarily low-profile, just smaller and lighter since I move my case around a lot, socket 1156, which would be the best at cooling?

I move my case around quite a bit as well, but I find as long as the HS is seated well and you're careful with it, any HS should be fine. However, if you still are worried, I guess I would suggest looking into some LP heatsinks with 120mm fans as they seem less inclined to topple, and the 92mm coolers you're going to find are all going to be small HS that don't cool as well.

Other ones you should look into besides the Scythe Rasetsu and Big Shuriken are the Prolimatech Samuel 17, Noctua NH-C12P, and Thermalright AXP-140. Try comparing reviews on these until you find your ideal price/performance. Good luck!

I gave my buddy my old Ultima-90 and its cooling his i5 750 @ 4ghz 1.3v to 82-84*C in LinX. It does have a 120mm fan on it though vs a 92, as I found a 92 too loud.

You could also try the Cooler Master Geminii S. It's a smallish 120mm heatsink.

It's not low profile but it's pretty small by today's standards.
