I just built a small rig for work and thought I would share my experiences with each part.
Case - Silver Stone PS07 - Great little case, very quiet, good airflow, looks good, made the mistake of not using a modular power supply. I would say that a modular PSU is just about a must with this case. The only other issue I have is the front fans not being sleeved.
PSU - Corsair builder series 430 - Solid little PSU.
MB - MSI A55M-P33 - Solid little board, no voltage modifications possible to increase OC. I would definitely say this was the one item I regret buying just because of the lack of OC'ing ability. Will be buying a better MB soon.
CPU - AMD A8-3870 - Great little processor, able to play some games at medium details so far, need to test further. I really screwed myself by getting the cheap MB, I believe I wont be to utilize the entire potential of this chip until I get a better MB.
Ram - Corsair cheapie 8gb - it works.
Hard Drive - SSD Mushkin Chronos 60gb - Works well, I don't need a lot of space for the work I do so I was even able to install 5 or so games. I really want to buy a SSD for my main rig now. The MB is set to IDE mode and not AHCI, not sure if that does anything performance wise.
Thats about it, I am happy with the build and only wish I had a) bought a modular PSU, and b) bought a better MB.
