I am currently modding and am trying to create a very small and more importantly flat pc, all is going well but I need a small and I mean small psu. It has to be at least 250W (more would be better) and very tiny.
Do u guys have any ideas or would I be able to mod a laptop psu to fit?

i dont know about modding a laptop psu but if u wanna stick with desktop psus, u can (but only if its done extremely careful) remove the metal casing of the power supply and use the insides

currently i am working on a mod that is putting a computer inside a vcr and powersuppply issue used to be a problem but i decided to just open the casing of the psu and secure the pcb with the wires inside the vcr

disclaimer: I AM NOT RESPONISBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS CAUSED BY MY IDEAS (neither is HardForum responsible for your accidents)

they are a bit more expensive, but you may want to look into a 1u case power supply. ebay

..think I 've found what i'm looking for now - its a rack mounted server psu but its only wafer thin!
