Hey, just recently, i bought a new pair of headphones (Sony MDR-V150) and they are wonderful on my computer, but are very weak on my cd-player and on my laptop. So i am just kida looking for a small portable headphone amp, that preferably, doenst need to be pluged in (meaning batteries). so are there any out there for maybe less than $40, or what about an "altoids amp"? ive heard of this, but what exactly is it, and how hard would it be exactly to make (but i dont have a sauder either, whitch might be needed). I would be open to any suggestions if possible, and as many as you can give me. Thanks!

you can build or buy a CMoy amp (usually built in a tin) for under 40 dollars.
