Small heatsinks worth it?

I was thinking of getting those small heatsinks with the thermal tape so i can put it on the chips on my computer and vid card. Are they worth the $$$$? Can you put it on any chip on the mobo and cards?

It's worth it if you want to clock heavily and your mosfets aren't getting enough airflow. But even then I guess only if they're getting hot enough to cause voltage instability. I dunno, I bought some silver coolermaster ones for my lanparty board just 'cos they look sexy....

I had a 6800 ultra that required those on it to do any kind of gaming. Your motherboard won't need them at all, but you may want to think about your video card. If it came from the factory without cooling and you are overclocking you may see better results if you use them.

They do help alot, but the Zalman versions help alot better IMO
