I currently have a Coolermaster Elite 360 which I use horizontally in an old school looking media tower with my amp, PS3, and record player.

It's a great size but the problem I have with it is that the PSU is located right behind the PCIe slot so it's really limiting my GPU choices because of the length of modern cards.

What I'd like is a case that I can use horizontally, a similar size to this one, but gives me more options for the GPU. I've been looking at HTPC cases but I'm not sure what would work.

Check out these cases:
$82 - Silverstone GD04B mATX HTPC Case
$84 - Silverstone GD05B mATX HTPC Case

I saw those yesterday, I couldn't find if they made them with a silver face or not. I'd prefer that given the choice.

They don't AFAIK

If you want a silver-faced HTPC case, you're more or less SOL considering that a lot of the silver cases have either a black or black striped face, have GPU length limitations, potential cooling issues and/or are pricey for what they offer. At least from what I've seen anyway.

Good to know, Those two are fine and my current case is black so it's not a problem. Everything I've seen that is silver was also insanely expensive due to LCD screens and things that I don't need :)

Looks like they do make it in silver: SilverStone GD04S.

Does anyone have any experience with that case?

Besides a difference in color, it should be the same as the well-reviewed GD04B case.
