I currently have a Aspire/Apevia X-Dreamer with an atx motherboard. I was wondering if there were any more compact and lightweight cases available?

I've been eyeballing the X-Master from Apevia, which looks pretty nice and has a good amount of room while being small dimensionally.

The Lian LI a05b case is a great small case in which alot of people use.

That Lian Li may be shorter but it's just as wide and deeper than most cases. I'm not sure you're going to find much for a standard ATX board that is going to be much smaller than your average mid-tower. Just grab some sort of case harness (I use this one - http://www.xoxide.com/sunbeam-lan-party-bag-black.html ) and it will make your LAN travelling much eaiser. 13 bucks is much less than buying a new case too.

That's a nice harness, I looked around for one of those a while ago and couldn't find what I was looking for. They used to be fairly popular, maybe I just wasn't searching correctly when I looked...

I really like some of the ideas for that design but that case still limits your cooling choices for your cpu. One of the reasons a lot of us like the Lian-Li A05 is because of its ability to use giant tower heatsinks like the Tuniq 120 or the TRUE. Also still having space for adding more fans (after cutting holes) makes a small case that can accept large heatsinks and still be able to have the ability to have great air flow.

Thermaltake lan-box..

I plan to build a small/simple LAN box that has all the games/mods installed on it and nothing else... Although I am already carrying a rocketfish, 24" monitor, a05b, giant bag of cat5/6cables switches, mice, headphones, mousepads, keyboards, extra NICs etc. ..with me to each LAN... =/ (Everything in my sig)
