Small business cloud sync

A couple of small businesses in the same building share a NAS device with 175 GB of data. Each of the seven computers had a single shared drive mapped to the device. It went down awhile back and they've asked me what I'd recommend as they would also like to access the files from anywhere and also have a backup solution.

My off the cuff suggestion was to put a Windows PC/server in place and continue to use network shares. Install Dropbox on the server with unlimited versions and include the shared folder in syncing. Video, pictures, quickbooks files, and office files are all part of the equation. I think LAN speed would be beneficial instead of going cloud only.

Any thoughts on this?

Crashplan Pro sounds like something you might want to look into, too. Dropbox would do it as well.
