I want to use my Klipsch 4.1 satellites for my TV since the TV speakers are terrible, and these are small enough to hide, and I already have them so they are free! I was thinking of using a small amp (really small) and hiding it behind the TV instead of using the sub and amp that comes with the speakers. Currently the TV is wall mounted with everything hidden, so id 'like keep it that way if I can.

Any advice on a small suitable amp?

I'm not sure how much space is available behind that wall mounted TV (if any) but the only thing made that small are T-amps.

There are several 'card amps' which are essentially an IC circuit on a circuit board with an embedded power supply. Those come in different sizes starting from matchbox size.

They do not include volume controls, tone controls or anything - but should work if you have power available and pre-out from the tv. One example http://www.spelektroniikka.fi/kuvat/10wattia.pdf don't let the finnish language and the schematics fool you, it's a ready board with 10W output power - needs only a 12-18V power supply. Total cost about 20 dollars.

This seems like it's comparable ( price wise) and has a power supply and case already.

Of those 2 i would say the lepai.

I've used the Lepai amp before, it works very well and does exactly what you want it to do, plus it looks better and would actually be easier to hide than the Dayton which I find to be extremely ugly, even if your hiding it behind a TV!
