Would anyone hazard a guess how the NVMe version of the SM951 would perform in a M.2 -> PCIe x4 Gen3 adapter card seated in the bottom PCIe x16 slot of an ASUS Z97-WS which does have a PEX8747 PLX bridge (48 PCIe Gen3 lanes).

The system has a 2xSLI setup occupying PCIe x16 slots 1 and 5 as suggested by the manual for dual SLI configurations.
