I'm using the onboard SATA raid in a raid0 config on a NF7-s rev2.0 board with two WD raptors (37gb). I run HDtach, I get a great access time (8.1ns) but i was expecting better write bursts than the 100mb/s that I am getting. Any way to speed this up? I have the latest drivers. As you can see in my config, i also am running two ATA WD 120's in raid 0 and they are almost as fast at 91 mb/s with much longer access time though ( 14.1 ns). I expected the Raptors to be much faster.

Should I get a Promise card instead? Anyone have an opinion which Raid0 card (don't need more than raid 0/1) is fastest?

Thanks in advance!
